I just took a quick quiz and found out I burn 267 calories during our 30-minute cardio portion.
I then took the quiz to find out what I burn during the 30-minute strength training portion: 114
(May 30, 2007 update: Now that I’m a proud owner of a Polar watch, I’ve been amazed to see that I burn an average of 700 calories for the Jazzercise hour. Granted, I’m teaching and working out harder than I did as a student, but I’m realizing that this test might show less calories burned that is the reality. Yippee!)
- Take the quiz for the aerobic portion. (It will depend upon if you are doing the high impact aerobic option with me, or doing the low impact option.)
- Take the quic for the strength-training portion. (selected weight lifting, light/moderate)
Now, that’s not even counting the value of those great endorphins, too!!! Enough to celebrate! See you tonight…
